August 8th - The amazing Petrified Forest and Painted Desert in Arizona.    




August 9th-11th - Mesa Verde, Colorado  - 2 days of exploring Cliff Dwellings and an evening with a Navajo Storyteller "Black Shawl's Grandaughter".





August 12th & 13th - Ourey, Colorado - An evening of swimming and fun in the Ourey Hot Springs (photo to follow). A trip into a mountain silver mine, 1/4 of a mile underground.
And then one of the most amazing hikes above the tree line into 4-wheel drive country. We hiked up to 12,218 feet to Wright's Lake in the San Juan Mountains.    








We're in the Gunnison and on our way to Cotopaxi. No internet service there. We'll update the blog next from Connecticut. It's been a BLAST! The campers are sorry to see it end.
