Day 2 Colorado National Monument

Sunday, July 6tth - We spent a beautiful sunny day exploring.  Colorado National Monument preserves one of the grand landscapes of the American West.  Sheer walled canyons, towering monoliths, colorful formations, soaring eagles, and a spectacular road reflect the environment and history of the plateau-and-canyon country.

Pictured is our hike to Devil's Kitchen.

Finished off the day with a refreshing two hour swim/football game in the pool.

Tomorrow we're off to Moab, Utah to see Arches and Canyonlands.  .
