Day 10 -11 Session II
Tuesday, July 29th
Day 10 - We left Wyoming for Custer, South Dakota in the Black Hills.
We visited the Needles District of Custer Park and took a short hike to Sylvan Lake (where a scene from National Treasure 2 was filmed) where we swam.
We visited Mount Rushmore National Monument.
and toured the Gutzon Borglum Artist's Studio.
Wednesday, July 30th
Day 11 - We traveled to the Badlands and took short hikes on the Castle and Window Trails.
The Golden Mounds.
We visited the Wall Drug Store (the largest in the world) and ate their famous homemade ice cream milkshakes and drank "free ice water".
