Day 9 Session II
Monday, July 28th
Day 9 - We visited Devils Tower National Monument (the 1st National Monument). We enjoyed a 1.4 mile loop on the Tower Trail and the kids were amazed by its size!
The kids wandered around the Prairie Dog Town at the park and scared off a badger who was hunting for dinner.
After dinner we watched "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" which was filmed at Devils Tower. Much to our surprise none of the kids had ever seen this movie classic.
