Session II day 7-8
The First BIG Hike!
We hiked below the rim into the Grand Canyon on the North Kaibab Trail. Only 3 miles round trip. The climb back is 2,100 feet up..... and one of the hardest on the north rim.
Back to the trail head and off for the celebratory Fat Boy ice cream!

Cape Royal
Flower Children. We came upon a field of wild flowers on our way to Cape Royal.
End of the day. Sunset over Grand Canyon Lodge.
Off to Zion...
